We invite you to submit your original work to Digital Life & Learning, ISSN 2156-7963 online, www.digilifelearn.com. This is an ongoing call for papers for the Digital Life & Learning Journal.
The DL&L mission is to play an active role in the exploration of digital life and learning by offering a forum for new knowledge and visioning in an expansive selection of articles, reviews, research reports, essays, and an author's blog. We are committed to the best scholarly standards and a multidisciplinary perspective in a rich media format which is aligned with our focus.
DL&L is a member of the U.S. based Council of Editors of Learned Journals.
DL&L publishes the following six types of modalities related to digital topics: (1) articles, (2) book reviews, (3) literature reviews, (4) reports, (5) research reports, (6) essays and an author's blog.
Digital topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following areas:
- Self and technium
- Screenbased reading
- Screenbased writing
- Digital memory
- Aspects of life on the mobile screen
- Understanding digital media
- Designing, teaching, and learning with Mobile Apps
- Proposals for book reviews
-Teaching in an online classroom environment
-Effects of the digital age on life, learning, and interactions
-Ethical, legal, privacy, and intellectual property issues in the digital age
-Cultural and diversity issues in online learning
Submission deadline: Ongoing/Rolling
Time-for-decision: 60 days

SUMMARY OF RULES FOR EDITORS
CONDITIONS: Submissions must be original in nature and not published/accepted for publication in other venues. Permission to publish any copyrighted material should have been obtained in advance by the author. The editors and authors will engage in a discussion in examining content or proof-reading related issues. The editor's review is final if discrepancies arise. PREPARATION: -Submissions must contain the name, affiliation/status, address and email address of the author. –All submissions should be sent as an e-mail attachment in a Microsoft Word format. –The version of the text supplied for publication should be submitted as it is intended per publication including any necessary references, images, or other resources as applicable. -All submissions should be in the current edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association. The Sixth Edition is presently in use. All guidelines in terms of formatting can be found at: http://www.apastyle.org/ -You do not need a cover page or abstract in your submission. You should submit a body and reference page in addition to any images as applicable. -Submissions should be typed, double-spaced on standard-sized paper (8.5″ x 11″) with 1″ margins on all sides. Please use 12 pt. Times New Roman font. -Do not use footnotes. If comments are desired, please use track changes. -Submissions should be in Standard English. –Authors should be sure to retain all copies of their work and edits throughout the review process.
